HEM provides end-to-end Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for internal and external power distribution networks. Our solutions are engineered to meet the specific load requirements of large-scale residential developments and heavy industrial facilities, prioritizing operational continuity and fire safety.
Scope of Works:
- Load Analysis & System Engineering: Calculation of peak demand, load factor, and diversity factors to optimize transformer capacity and cable sizing. Design includes low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) distribution layouts, selective protection coordination, and power quality analysis.
- Equipment Integration & Procurement: Sourcing and installation of MV switchgear, dry-type or oil-immersed transformers, Main Distribution Boards (MDB), and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS). We ensure all hardware complies with IEC standards for short-circuit withstand and thermal performance.
- Infrastructure Installation: Deployment of cable management systems, busbar trunking, and specialized earthing (grounding) and lightning protection systems. For industrial complexes, we integrate dedicated motor control centers (MCC) and reactive power compensation units.
- Emergency & Backup Systems: Design and integration of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and standby diesel generators to ensure zero-downtime for critical loads and life-safety systems.
- Testing & Commissioning: Comprehensive site testing, including insulation resistance, earth loop impedance, and thermal imaging of connections, followed by system-wide functional verification under load.
